To make your clinical examinations easier, there's nothing better than analysis tools tailored to your needs. We understand this, and we can offer you a range of products to match your working methods.

Clinical analysis: an important part of the consultation

The clinical examination is a process made up of different stages including discussion with the patient, posture analysis, clinical analysis of the patient in static and dynamic conditions and checking of the effect of the insoles once they have been made and worn.

In this article, we will focus our attention on the clinical analysis of the patient. Recognising the importance of foot analysis in diagnosing conditions, we have developed a full range of professional analysis tools to help you examine your patients.

A range of analysis tools designed with you in mind

However you work and whatever space you have in your practice, we have the right analysis tool for you.

Working from home

Do your consultations usually take place away from your practice? The Pressmat™ is perfect for you. Easy to transport, it's ideal for working with sports clubs or at events. Its downloadable app for tablets or smartphones means you no longer need a computer to analyse your patients' footprints. If you're looking for more detailed analysis, however, we recommend an analysis tool combined with data processing software, such as the Presscam™.

You work in a practice

The Presscam™ is an excellent solution for very extensive and detailed analysis, testing both static, dynamic analysis, and allowing postural examination of the patient. Additional data such as pressure centres, gait line, medial and lateral axes, or centre of pressure excursion index (CPEI) will improve your analyses and supplement your reports. The software is accessible via computer, but the Podocapture app allows you to control your Presscam™ from your smartphone and tablet. The Presscam™ is very intuitive and easy to use. In fact, very little information is required - just the patient's surname, first name and weight - for the tool to work smoothly. It is also recommended for foot care professionals with limited space in their practice. Lightweight and slim, it can be moved easily from one place to another. There are two versions of the Presscam™ available: the Presscam™ usb and the Presscam™ wi-fi. The Presscam™ USB is ideal in a practice with a poor internet connection, conversely the Presscam™ wi-fi is a better choice if you need to move your analytical tools regularly, and you have a good internet connection.

Our Presscam™ and Pressmat™ tools enable both static and dynamic analysis. However, for multi-step dynamics analysis, we offer the Wintrack tool, which lets you record and analyse from 2 to 4 footsteps. You can choose between the Win-Track and Win-Track mini to suit the space available in your practice. The mini version is more compact but uses the same technology as Win-Track.

Would you like to run tests under real-life conditions? Take a look at the Intelisol® Easy. This integrated insole technology allows you to assess patients wearing their own shoes in real-life situations. They can take part in a range of sporting activities, particularly those requiring changes in support, like golf, squash or tennis. This technology is also extremely helpful for diabetic patients to analyse the interaction and contact points between feet and shoes.

We also supply analysis tools compatible with our thermoforming equipment. The Intelimat™, for example, is specially designed to visually check impressions taken on hard and standard vacuum impression systems. This allows you to check that everything observed during the clinical examination is taken into account during the thermoforming process. What's more, its software is highly visual, so you can easily explain the corrections you are using to the patient.

Last but not least, we've recently welcomed a new addition to the Podiatech family of analysis tools: the Power Track. It's ideal for foot health professionals with large practices who want to carry out an in-depth analysis of walking and running cycles. It is a running treadmill with an integrated dynamic multi-step data acquisition platform. The platform is removable, so it can be used on the ground if needed (for the elderly, children, etc.) or integrated into a treadmill (sports analysis). The data provided by its software will help you provide the most comprehensive patient analysis possible.
